Northwestern Medicine seeks a Registered Nurse for the ICU, working 12-hour shifts per week. The RN will deliver high-quality, evidence-based care, adhere to ethics and hospital policies, and coordinate with physicians and the care team to optimize patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, education, discharge planning, and medication administration. A BSN and IL RN license are required; BLS certification is mandatory.

Qualifications

• BSN is required to practice as an RN in Illinois.
• Active Illinois Registered Nurse license required.
• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) per American Heart Association.

Responsabilités

• Performs established nursing procedures per hospital policies and department standards.
• Uses nursing process to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to patients and families.
• Communicates patient status and care plans to physicians and the healthcare team.
• Manages education, discharge planning, and patient/family teaching as part of the care plan.
• Administers medications and treatments safely, monitoring patient response.
