Qualifications

• BSN is required for the role.
• Current State of Illinois Registered Professional Nurse license is required.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.

Responsibilities

• Collects and analyzes data, develops and implements an individualized plan, coordinates care, and evaluates progress toward outcomes.
• Directs care and determines appropriate use of assistants providing direct patient care.
• Collaborates with patient, family, physicians and staff; documents plan and communications.
• Participates in governance, committees and unit projects.
• Evaluates patient responses to nursing interventions and updates care plan accordingly.
• Uses evidence, including research findings, to guide practice decisions.
