Qualifications

• BSN required.
• Current State of Illinois Registered Professional Nurse license.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS/PALS/ENPC/TNCC common requirements for ER and pediatric areas.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Collects and analyzes data, develops an individualized plan, coordinates care delivery and evaluates outcomes.
• Directs care and utilizes any assistants in providing direct patient care.
• Collaborates with patients, families, physicians and staff; documents the plan of care.
• Participates in shared governance, committee work and unit projects.
• Evaluates patient responses to nursing interventions and updates the care plan.
• Uses evidence-based practice to guide nursing decisions.
