Job summary

Northern Nevada Medical Center is seeking an ICU Registered Nurse for a part-time position (24 hours/week) with full benefits and a night shift. The ideal candidate holds a Nevada nursing license, with at least one year of critical care experience, current BLS, and ACLS or willingness to obtain within six months.

Qualifications

• Current Nevada nursing license.
• At least one year of critical care nursing experience.
• Current BLS.
• Current ACLS (or obtained within six months of hire).

Responsibilities

• Constructs and implements the plan of care using nursing knowledge and skill.
• Coordinates the interdisciplinary plan of care for assigned patients, develops goals and discharge plans.
• Performs hourly rounds to strengthen communication, safety, and patient needs.
• Educates patient and family about hospital components of Patient Centered Care Delivery.
