Advocate South Suburban Hospital is seeking a part-time RN for the ICU/Critical Care unit, with at least 1 year of clinical nursing experience and active RN license. Night shifts are 1900-0700, every other weekend and holiday track. BLS certification is required.

BSN preferred. The role includes safety initiatives, documentation, and collaboration across the care team, with potential float to other units as needed.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where the RN is providing client nursing services.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
• Proficiency with EHR and digital platforms.

• Engages in unit councils, professional governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes and apply evidence-based practices.
• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care, engaging patients and families through the continuum of care.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, mobilizes resources, and collaborates with the care team to influence care outcomes.
• Upholds and promotes a culture of safety.
• Contributes to accurate, timely documentation in EHR; may float to other units as needed.
