Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Registered Nurse for a seasonal night shift assignment. The RN will coordinate and deliver high-quality patient-centered care in collaboration with providers and the care team, following established nursing models.

Position requires ACLS/BCLS within 30 days, an active RN license, and at least 1 year of ICU experience. Assignment runs from Sept 20, 2026 to Apr 3, 2027, with a minimum of 72 hours per pay period.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state.
• ACLS and BCLS certifications must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• 1+ year of ICU experience required.

Responsibilities

• Performs procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s). Documents the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
• Teaches patients/families/caregivers about patient medical condition, patient status, treatment plan, medications and possible side effects, and follow-up measures, translating complex medical terminology.
