Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care in accordance with department standards and the state scope of practice. In collaboration with physicians and the care team, the RN provides individualized, compassionate care using established nursing models to support outcomes and the patient experience.

Qualifications include an RN license and an Associate Degree, ACLS and BCLS within 30 days, and at least 1 year ICU experience.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN license and Associate Degree required.
• 1+ year ICU experience required.

Responsibilities

• Performs procedures and monitoring as ordered by providers and documents care in the medical record.
• Educates patients and families about conditions, treatment plans, medications and follow‑ups.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team to coordinate and customize a holistic care plan.
• Engages in evidence‑based practice and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
