Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Registered Nurse for a night-shift assignment on a seasonal program from Sept 20, 2026 to Apr 3, 2027. The RN coordinates and delivers patient-centered care, collaborates with providers, and supports quality outcomes across the department.

The role requires ACLS/BCLS within 30 days of start date, an ADN or higher, and 1+ year ICU experience. You may float within a close geography, complete four weekend shifts every four weeks, and two holiday shifts during the

Qualifications

1+ year of ICU experience required.
ACLS and BCLS certifications required within 30 days of start date.
RN credential required (registered nurse).
Associate degree or higher required.

Responsibilities

Performs procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s).
Teaches patients/families/caregivers about medical condition, status, plan, medications and possible side effects, and follow-up measures.
Teaches patients about non-medicinal follow-up measures, such as diet and exercise, disease prevention, and self-management.
Manages evidence-based practices and quality initiatives to meet and exceed quality measures.
Coordinates care with a multidisciplinary team to deliver a holistic treatment plan.
