Job summary

OhioHealth in Columbus, OH seeks an ICU RN to provide general nursing care to patients and families across the health-illness continuum. You will collaborate with the care team and be accountable to the Ohio Board of Nursing for nursing practice.

This role includes night shifts, 24 scheduled hours per week, and opportunities to work in a high reliability environment focused on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• RN with license to practice in Ohio.
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association).
• Experience in ICU nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assessment/Diagnosis: perform health status assessment as applicable to the population.
• Outcomes Identification/Planning: document planned nursing interventions to meet patient needs.
• Implementation/Evaluation: evaluate response to interventions and revise care plan with the team.
• Leadership: participate in process improvement to improve quality, satisfaction and finances.
• Operations: perform nursing duties and support unit operations.
• As a High Reliability Organization (HRO), focus on safety, quality and efficiency in duties.
