Job summary

OhioHealth in Ohio is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse for ICU coverage. You will provide general nursing care across the continuum, perform assessments, plan and implement care, and evaluate patient outcomes with a multidisciplinary team.

The role emphasizes leadership in quality, safety, and adherence to the Ohio Nurse Practice Act within a high reliability framework. Shifts are variable, about 36 hours per week; BSN is preferred and state RN licensure is required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing completed.
• BSN is required at 5 years of employment.
• RN license in good standing (Ohio or multi-state compact).
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose patient health status and plan nursing interventions.
• Document planned interventions and expected outcomes to meet patient needs.
• Implement and evaluate nursing care with multidisciplinary team; revise plans as needed.
• Lead process improvement activities to enhance clinical quality, patient safety, and satisfaction.
• Operate within a High Reliability Organization to emphasize safety, quality, and efficiency.
