Job summary

Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking an ICU RN for night full-time shifts with rotating weekends in Somerset, KY. Eligible candidates will provide direct patient care in the ICU, participate in care planning, and collaborate with the care team to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Current RN license in state of practice; Kentucky license preferred.
• ACLS, PALS and BCLS certifications required; Handle with Care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the ICU using the nursing process.
• Administer medications and perform clinical treatments.
• Document patient care and monitor patient condition.
• Assist patients with daily living activities, nutrition and mobility.
• Coordinate transfers, discharges and referrals across care teams.
• Educate patients and families considering age and culture.
• Support performance improvement and continuing education.
• Maintain reliable attendance and flexible shift coverage.
