Sovah Health in Danville, VA, is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the ICU night shift. The role includes medication administration, patient assessment, and collaborative care planning within a 19-bed closed ICU with 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio. Eligible for a $20,000 sign-on bonus; full-time, 36 hours/week, 12-hour shifts (7P-7A).

Active VA RN license required; Associate's degree in nursing required, Bachelor’s preferred. Benefits, growth opportunities, and ongoing edu offered.

Qualificações

• Active Virginia RN license (single-state) or compact license.
• Associate's degree in nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care activities.
• Documents patient care provided.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial/spiritual support needs.
• Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
• Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
• Provides quality patient care and works flexible shifts or units as needed.

Conhecimentos

Active Virginia RN license
