Job summary

Pullman Regional Hospital is seeking an ICU RN for supplemental day and night shifts. This part-time role supports critical care coverage, with potential to float to other departments as needed. The RN must maintain Washington licensure and have current BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications.

The position emphasizes high reliability, safety, and quality improvement within a team-focused environment that serves the community.

Qualifications

• Maintain nursing licensure in good standing in the State of Washington.
• At least 1 year of RN inpatient or outpatient experience.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications completed within 3 months of hire.
• Trauma education (4 hours) every 3 years; TNCC acceptable.
• Stroke education 8 hours annually for Acute Stroke Ready designation.
• BSN completion within 1 year of hire.
• NIHSS certification within 6 months of hire.
• Demonstrates required clinical skills for RN and department.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prioritize nursing care to ensure safe, effective patient care.
• Gather information to form a patient care plan based on nursing assessment.
• Make decisions with professional nursing judgment to establish care plans.
• Communicate and collaborate to support therapeutic relationships with patients and colleagues.

• Stay current with nursing practices and hospital policies; complete required competencies.
• Demonstrate reliability, quality, and safe task completion.
