Job summary

UW Medical Center-Northwest ICU seeks a Night Shift Registered Nurse to provide bedside care for critically ill patients on a 3x12 schedule (7:00pm–7:30am) with weekend availability. Expect 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratios and close collaboration with the ICU team to deliver evidence-based care.

Requirements include 1 year of recent ICU or high-acuity CCU experience, BLS, ACLS, and WA RN licensure. This regular, full-time position offers night shift premiums and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1 year ICU or high-acuity CCU experience or equivalent.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Active RN licensure in Washington State.

Responsibilities

• Deliver bedside nursing care to critically ill patients.
• Monitor and administer medications and IV infusions.
• Collaborate with physicians, intensivists, social workers and care managers.
