Job summary

Holy Family Medical Center in Des Plaines, IL is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Medical Surgical Telemetry unit. Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license and BLS certification upon hire.
• ACLS certification within 30 days of hire and maintained.
• Basic arrhythmia interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Ventilator management experience preferred.
• Acute Care hospital experience preferred; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process in Telemetry.
• Direct patient/family teaching and oversee other nursing staff.
• Communicate changes in patient condition with physicians promptly.

Education

Current and valid state RN License

Current BLS certificate

Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation

Current ACLS certificate

Previous Acute Care hospital experience (preferred)

Ventilator Management experience (preferred)

RN-BC or similar certification (preferred)

BSN preferred
