Qualifications

• Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
• Education: RN must have graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Exceptions: Candidates with more than two years of acute care experience may be considered if reviewed and approved by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department policies.

Responsibilities

• ICU Nurses work with unstable patients requiring constant monitoring.
• The unit offers PCU and ICU‑level care with a collaborative, supportive culture.
