Job summary

Harris Regional Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the ICU. The full-time day shift 7a-7p offers a $15,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates and requires 3x12s with weekends/holidays.

You will join a 9-bed ICU team delivering critical care, including patient assessments, interventions, and documentation to support interdisciplinary care plans. Prior ICU experience preferred.

Qualifications

• North Carolina or compact state RN license required.
• Associate degree from an accredited nursing school.
• AHA Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.
• AHA ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire.
• One year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
• Initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient.
• Documents medical necessity in the medical record.
• Completes and revises the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments.
