Job summary

Harris Regional Hospital in North Carolina is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the 9-bed ICU, nights. Schedule: 3x12s, 7p–7a; weekends/holidays required. A $20,000 sign-on bonus is offered for eligible candidates with a 2-year commitment.

You will perform patient assessments, initiate nursing interventions, document medical necessity, and contribute to the interdisciplinary care plan, working in a high-acuity ICU with a 2:1 patient ratio.

Qualifications

• Current NC or compact RN license required.
• Associate degree from an accredited nursing program.
• ACLS and PALS certifications within six months of hire.
• AHA Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire.
• One year of ICU or critical care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and identify care needs.
• Initiate nursing interventions based on patient condition.
• Provide age-appropriate nursing care and documentation.
• Maintain Interdisciplinary Care Plan and care coordination.
• Document medical necessity accurately in the medical record.
• Contribute to timely QI assessments and outcomes.
