Qualifications

• Associates Of Science Nursing, upon hire
• At least one (1) year of RN experience
• Demonstrated competence in Registered Nurse I performance expectations
• Registered Nurse: TX, upon hire
• Basic Life Support - CPR, within 14 days
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 6 months
• Bachelors Of Science Nursing, upon hire

Responsibilities

• Assessment: Admission and ongoing assessment of patient's condition; provide nursing care and notify changes to the physician.
• Planning: Design, direct, evaluate, and document the plan of care and teach patients/families.
• Implementation: Prepare patients for treatments and procedures; report significant changes and follow safety protocols.
• Evaluation: Reassess patients after interventions and adjust care as needed.
• Report Skills: Hand off care with Bedside Shift Report to oncoming staff and ensure continuity.
