Job summary

Conemaugh Nason Medical Center, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking an ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to coordinate and direct care for critically ill patients in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include detailed patient assessments, medication administration, monitoring life-support systems and providing emergency interventions, with mentorship for new staff and active participation in handoffs and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an RN program with a current PA license (if applicable) and Pennsylvania licensure.
• BLS required; ACLS or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• CCRN preferred.
• BTNC or equivalent training within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for critically ill patients.
• Administer medications, monitor life-support equipment and perform routine/complex treatments.
• Provide emergency interventions including resuscitation when needed.
• Document observations and interventions accurately.
• Mentor and orient new team members; participate in shift handoffs.
