Job summary

Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, part of Lifepoint Health in Johnstown, PA, is seeking a Nurse Technician for the ICU. You will support nurses and the care team in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting.

Responsibilities include vitals on admission, EMR documentation, patient transport, and care plan implementation, with a focus on safety and compassionate patient care. 12‑hour shifts, weekend rotations, and a potential $5,000 sign‑on bonus are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of Nurse Aide Program or related experience is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire.
• One year of acute or long-term care experience preferred.
• Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the Patient Care Team delivering personalized, efficient care.
• Considers safety, effectiveness, and cost in patient care.
• Orients patients and families to the room and call bell.
• Obtains initial vital signs, height, and weight on admission.
• Records daily I&O, vital signs, and nutrition data in the EMR.
• Transports patients safely and adheres to activity restrictions.
• Builds positive relationships and communicates concerns to the care team.
