Job summary

Centerpoint Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the ICU Days role to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment. The RN coordinates with a multidisciplinary team and uses established nursing models to assess, perform, teach, and manage patient care.

You will educate patients and families, document care, and contribute to quality initiatives that improve outcomes. Strong collaboration and commitment to the hospital’s mission are essential.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BCLS and TNCC certifications due within specified timeframes.
• Current RN license in good standing.
• Diploma or ADN required; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs procedures and care as ordered by medical providers and documents in the medical record.
• Educates patients/families about condition, treatment plan, and follow-up.
• Instructs on non-medicinal follow-up measures and self-management.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team to coordinate and deliver comprehensive care.
• Engages in continuous quality improvement initiatives.
