Job summary

Provident Behavioral Health in Augusta, ME, is seeking an ICU RN to provide direct care to critically ill adults, applying the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

The role requires Maine RN license (or ability to obtain), at least 1 year in acute care, and certifications such as BLS/ACLS. A CCU background is a plus, with 12-hour night shifts and weekend/holiday rotations.

Qualifications

• Active Maine RN license or ability to obtain it.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience in acute care; CCU experience is a plus.
• Preferred certifications: BLS, ACLS, MOAB.

Responsibilities

• Develops and monitors patient care plans, communicates patient conditions, coordinates multidisciplinary care.
• Delegates tasks to ancillary staff and may mentor students or new hires.
• Participates in weekend and holiday rotations, working 12-hour night shifts.
