Provident Behavioral Health in Augusta, ME, is seeking an ICU RN to provide direct care to critically ill adults, applying the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
The role requires Maine RN license (or ability to obtain), at least 1 year in acute care, and certifications such as BLS/ACLS. A CCU background is a plus, with 12-hour night shifts and weekend/holiday rotations.
Provides direct care to critically ill adult patients in the ICU, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with organizational policies and standards.
Develops and monitors patient care plans, communicates patient conditions, coordinates multidisciplinary care, and offers patient and family education tailored to individual needs. Delegates tasks to ancillary staff and may mentor students or new hires.
Active Maine RN license or ability to obtain it, with at least 1 year of RN experience in acute care preferred. Prior CCU experience is a plus. Certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and MOAB are preferred.
Collaborate with healthcare team, ensure quality patient outcomes, and support patient safety and comfort. Participate in weekend and holiday rotations, working 12-hour night shifts.
