Job summary

MaineGeneral Health in Augusta, ME seeks a Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct care to critically ill adults in the Alfond Center for Health. This role supports a high-performing team in a state-of-the-art facility.

The position is 30 hours/week on day shift (7a–7p) with weekend/holiday rotation. Requires Maine RN licensure and acute care experience; CCU experience preferred. Benefits and competitive pay apply.

Qualifications

• Active Maine RN licensure required.
• At least 1 year of RN experience in an acute care setting.
• Prior/Recent CCU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care plans based on patient assessment to optimize outcomes.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition.
• Collaborates across disciplines for transfer, discharge, and referrals.
• Provides patient/family education appropriate to age and condition.
