Qualifications
Current and valid state RN License.
Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
Completion of Critical Care Course preferred.
Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital, critical care preferred.
Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification preferred.
Responsibilities
Provide direct ICU patient care and monitor condition.
Apply the nursing process: assess, plan, implement, evaluate.
Respond to changes in vital signs, hemodynamics, and patient condition.
Communicate with physicians and healthcare teams.
Educate patients and families on treatments and care plans.
Collaborate with nursing staff and maintain ICU standards.
Maintain documentation, privacy, and HIPAA compliance.
Respond to emergencies and rapid condition changes.
