Job summary

Holy Cross Hospital Mountain Point in Utah is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to facilitate, communicate, and collaborate with the healthcare team to meet patients’ physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. You will promote safety and compassionate care through the nursing process and align with state practice standards.

Your duties include developing care plans, performing IVs and wound care, documenting status, and educating patients and families.

Qualifications

Associates Degree in Nursing; Nursing Diploma or by endorsement.
RN License in state of employment.
Physical Requirements: Medium Work exerts up to 50 lbs, frequent lifting, constant handling.

Responsibilities

Assess patient’s physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs and plan care with the team.
Develop and implement patient care plans and observe outcomes with interdisciplinary collaboration.
Demonstrate competency in IVs, wound care, medications, catheterization, and specimen collection.
Maintain patient charts; document status and outcomes; use IT to support decisions.
Promote, advocate, and collaborate to protect patient health, safety, and rights.
Provide patient/family education and assess learning readiness and effectiveness.
