Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing, Nursing Diploma or by endorsement
• RN License in state of employment
• Physical requirements: medium work with lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally, up to 20 lbs frequently, up to 10 lbs constantly

Responsibilities

• Assess patient’s physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs and document outcomes
• Develop and implement patient plan of care with interdisciplinary team
• Administer IVs, wound care, medications, catheterization, and specimen collection
• Maintain patient charts accurately and timely; use IT to communicate and support decision-making
• Promote patient health, safety, rights, and advocacy
• Provide patient/family education based on learning readiness and needs
