Job summary

Overland Park Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced RN to deliver patient-centered, evidence-based care in a high-acuity setting. You will collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to implement individualized care plans while maintaining documentation accuracy and patient safety.

The role requires an active nursing license in Kansas (or compact license), BLS on hire, ACLS within 1 month, and TNCC within 6 months, with at least 1 year of critical care experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program with an AND or BSN.
• Current RN license in the state of practice or active compact license.
• BLS at hire; ACLS within 1 month; TNCC within 6 months.
• Minimum 1 year of critical care experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs procedures and monitoring as ordered; documents care in the patient record.
• Educates patients and families about conditions, status, treatments and follow-up.
• Teaches self-management, diet, exercise and prevention for future care.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Deliver high-quality care during full-time night shifts with supportive leadership.
