Job summary

McPherson Hospital, Inc. is seeking an experienced RN for ICU Nights to deliver critical care in a fast-paced environment. You will oversee monitor tech and telemetry patients while coordinating with physicians and staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requires KS RN licensure, BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC verification within 6 months, and 6 months–1 year Med/Surg experience; 3–5 years ICU preferred. A sign-on bonus may be available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing (two-year program).
• Licensed in Kansas as a Registered Nurse in good standing.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC verification within 6 months of hiring.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in ICU using the nursing process.
• Monitor and respond to telemetry and monitor tech observations.
• Administer medications per 6 rights and hospital protocols.
• Discharge planning and patient teaching from admission.
• Document care actions and patient responses for continuity of care.
