Job summary

AdventHealth in Lenexa, KS is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Night shift to provide comprehensive nursing care in a hospital setting. A $20,000 sign-on bonus is offered and benefits begin from Day One.

The role focuses on assessing patients, developing and implementing care plans, medication administration, patient education, and collaborative care coordination with the medical team. A strong English proficiency and nursing licensure are required.

Qualifications

Associate degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's preferred.
RN licensure required; BLS certification required; various advanced certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
Develop and implement individualized care plans and continually evaluate and revise as needed.
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols; monitor for adverse reactions.
Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies.
Coordinate with medical staff and ancillary departments to optimize patient care and ensure effective communication.
