Job summary

AdventHealth in Shawnee Mission, Kansas is seeking a Registered Nurse for the ICU, Full Time Nights. The RN will perform comprehensive assessments, develop individualized care plans, administer medications, and educate patients and families in a high-acuity ICU setting.

Qualifications

RN in acute care setting (preferred)
Ability to work in a high-acuity ICU
English fluency and strong communication skills

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments across physiological, psychological, developmental and spiritual domains
Develop and implement individualized care plans and adjust as needed
Administer medications and treatments per orders and monitor for adverse effects
Educate patients/families on conditions, treatments, medications and self-care
Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate care and ensure effective teamwork
