Advocate Aurora Health is seeking an ICU registered nurse with 2 years of ICU experience for a full-time, 0.9 FTE role in Illinois. The position offers self-scheduled day shifts (0700-1930) on a 36-hour week and occasional floating between units. Required BLS/ACLS and an active RN license. The ICU RN will monitor patients, execute care plans, and participate in governance and quality initiatives while upholding safety and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where RN provides care.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• 2 years ICU RN experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Engage in governance, quality initiatives, and evidence-based practice improvements.
• Use the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Monitor patient conditions, adjust care plans, and coordinate with the care team.
• Maintain accurate, timely electronic health record documentation.
• Float to other units as needed within the service area.
