Job summary

Banner Health in Phoenix is seeking an ICU Float Nurse on the Resource Team to work across the Trauma Surgical ICU, Cardiovascular ICU, Neurological ICU and Medical-Surgical ICU. This full-time day-shift role offers 3 x 12-hour shifts (7:00am-7:30pm) with weekend and holiday coverage requirements and incentive differentials.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, participate in our Nursing Clinical Ladder Incentive Program, and contribute to high-quality, evidence-based patient care

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• Banner Registry and Travel acute care positions require a minimum of one year experience.
• Experience in an acute care hospital setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient physical, psychological and discharge planning needs with the care team.
• Implements and evaluates the care plan based on orders and patient response.
• Documents care provided and communicates patient status to the health team.
• Participates in education, mentoring and shared leadership as appropriate.
