Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids, IA invites qualified Registered Nurses to join the Intensive Care Center. You will monitor ICU patients, perform assessments, administer meds, document care in real time, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe, patient-centered outcomes.

The role requires an Iowa RN license (or compact state), BLS certification, and department-specific trainings; we offer up to $15,000 sign-on, rotating shifts, 36 scheduled weekly hours, and ongoing

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a registered nurse in Iowa or a compact state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Iowa Dependent Adult Abuse/Iowa Child Abuse Mandatory Reporter training required.
• BSN preferred.

Responsabilités

• Communicates accurate and clinically relevant information at handoffs to support patient outcomes.
• Performs competent assessment, planning, intervention, coordination and evaluation per patient plan.
• Maintains real-time documentation of nursing care for care team use.
• Delegates to licensed and non-licensed staff as assigned and supports team needs.
• Responds to emergencies within scope of practice and promotes safety.
