Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health in Youngstown, OH is seeking an ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality care to critically ill patients. The role requires strong clinical judgment, collaboration with the care team, and the ability to respond to rapidly changing conditions.

Responsibilities include assessing patients, planning and implementing care, administering medications safely, and ensuring a safe, therapeutic environment.

Qualifications

• Current state RN licensure
• BLS required; ACLS preferred and must obtain within 6 months of hire
• PALS preferred for Pediatric Units; required in lieu of BLS/ACLS for Pediatric Units
• 1 year RN experience required; 6 months in Med/Surg/CCU/ED preferred

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
• Assess patient status and develop a plan of care
• Administer medications safely and according to policy
• Adapt to rapidly changing patient conditions with clinical judgment
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment
