Job summary

Wood County Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for ICU per diem shifts. You will provide personal care and evidence-based nursing practices, assessing and responding to patient needs in an on-site ICU setting.

The role requires an Ohio RN license by time of hire, with BLS/ACLS within 90 days and PALS/NRP where applicable. BSN is preferred, with a focus on safe, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Diploma nurse or ADN from an accredited school.
• RN license in Ohio by time of hire.
• BLS and ACLS within 90 days of hire.
• PALS within 90 days of hire (ED, PACU, Infusion).
• NRP within 90 days of hire (OB).
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
• Maintain accurate, timely reports and records.
• Individualize care based on patient values and needs.
• Collaborate and advocate with other health care providers.
• Educate patient and family from admission to discharge.
• Prepare, prevent, protect and respond to our culture of safety.
• Work hours per week per offer letter; overtime as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
