Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• ADN accepted with commitment to obtain BSN within three years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Complete an assessment for each patient following guidelines, considering age-specific variables.
• Develop and update the plan of care with input from the interdisciplinary team and family.
• Administer prescribed medications safely and educate patients about them.
• Document treatments, assessments, and patient responses in a timely manner.
• Coordinate discharge planning and ensure patient teaching is understood.
• Communicate patient status and changes to physicians and the care team.
