Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the ICU (Critical Care) at King Mills Hospital. The role focuses on delivering exceptional nursing care during nights, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, and ensuring a safe, therapeutic environment.

A BSN is preferred but not required, and Ohio RN licensure is essential. Requirements include at least 1 year of RN experience with 6 months in critical care settings; ACLS/PALS may be required within six months of hire.

Qualifications

• Current state RN licensure
• 1 year RN experience required
• 6 months RN experience in Med/Surg, Critical Care, Stepdown, or ED preferred

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
• Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments and create a care plan
• Administer treatments and medications as prescribed
• Evaluate treatment effectiveness and adjust plans as needed
• Prioritize information and act decisively based on clinical judgement
