Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking an ICU Registered Nurse (RN) for The Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati. The role delivers high‑quality care in a critical care setting, leading assessments, planning and execution of patient care during night shifts with a strong emphasis on safety and evidence-based practice.

Requirements include an RN license in the state, 1 year of RN experience, and BLS; ACLS and PALS are encouraged or required by unit policy.

Qualifications

• 1 year of RN experience (required).
• 6 months RN experience in Med/Surg, Critical Care, Stepdown, or Emergency Department (preferred).
• Current state RN licensure.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred at hire; ACLS required within 6 months; PALS preferred at hire or required in pediatrics units.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Perform initial and ongoing patient assessment and plan of care; implement and evaluate treatments.
• Administer medications safely per state practice and policies.
• Adapt to rapidly changing patient conditions and provide patient-centered care.
• Other duties as assigned.
