Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for ICU (Critical Care) at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima, OH. The role covers ICU and step-down patients on a hybrid 4B unit, with a focus on delivering high-quality nursing care during night shifts.

The position requires 1 year of RN experience, Ohio RN licensure, and active BLS; ACLS/PALS are preferred or to be obtained within 6 months. Part-time nights, with a 24-hour per week schedule, and opportunities for development are offered.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license in Ohio.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience required; ICU/critical care preferred.
• BLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred or must obtain within timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate patient care.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments; develop and monitor care plans.
• Administer medications safely in accordance with policies and state practice acts.
• Anticipate changes in patient conditions and respond with clinical judgement.
