Job summary

Ascension Seton Medical Center Hays in Kyle, TX seeks a dedicated RN for the Intensive Care Unit. You will provide direct patient care on a night shift, 36 hours weekly across three 12-hour shifts (7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.), with rotating weekends.

Responsibilities include implementing care plans, communicating changes to the care team, and maintaining precise EHR documentation. Minimum requirements include a Texas RN license, ACLS within 6 months, BLS within 30 days, and a nursing diploma.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in Texas.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• BLS within 1 month of hire.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as an RN in ICU per clinical protocols.
• Implement and monitor individualized patient care plans.
• Monitor, document, and communicate patient condition changes to the interdisciplinary team.
• Execute physician and nursing orders with accurate EHR documentation.
