Job summary

Ascension Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Telemetry department at Seton Medical Center Hays in Kyle, TX. This full-time night-shift role requires an active TX RN license and BLS certification, with a nursing diploma from an accredited program. You will coordinate care, implement care plans, and support discharge planning.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 1 month (30 days) of hire. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• RN credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing prior to hire date.

Responsibilities

• Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
• Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
• Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
