Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System is seeking Registered Nurse RNs for Critical Care in rotating and night shifts across Mount Carmel East, Mount Carmel St. Ann's, Mount Carmel Grove City, and Mount Carmel Dublin.

As an RN, you will provide patient-centered care within the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, collaborating with the team to deliver evidence-based nursing and maintain Magnet standards. This is a full-time, rotating shift position with opportunities across multiple Mount Carmel campuses.

Qualifications

• Graduate from school of nursing.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• For Casual RNs 2 years of experience is required.
• All new graduate nurses with less than one year of clinical experience are subject to participate and will be automatically enrolled in the Nurse Residency Program.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care and promotes patient safety, quality initiatives, and professionalism per Magnet standards.
• Assesses and evaluates patient care, develops a plan of care with patient and family.
• Communicates pertinent information to the care team promptly; keeps patients updated.
• Documents assessments, interventions and outcomes per policies and guidelines.
• Accountable for care and documentation by licensed and unlicensed staff.
