Abrazo West Campus is seeking a registered nurse to provide professional nursing care on an assigned unit. You will coordinate care planning with other disciplines and supervise staff in directing patient care using independent judgment.

You will assess holistic patient needs, set realistic goals, and tailor care plans accordingly while ensuring orders are correctly implemented. A comprehensive benefits package and ongoing professional development are offered.

Qualifications

• Education: Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school.
• L&D: Advanced fetal monitoring or obtain within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, psychosocial, spiritual, educational, cultural and discharge needs on admission and ongoing.
• Determine nursing diagnosis based on assessment and data analysis.
• Set practical, population-specific outcome goals using patient/family input.
• Individualize patient care plans based on needs and complexities.
• Implement nursing and medical orders ensuring appropriateness to status.
• Perform other tasks as assigned at the hospital.
