Job summary

Roper St. Francis Healthcare is seeking an experienced registered nurse for ICU/acute care, providing nursing care to patients per established standards. Requires SC RN license with BLS; ACLS for certain units, BSN preferred and 2+ years in critical care or ED.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred or required within five years of hire.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in critical care or ED.
• Energy to apply the SC Nurse Practice Act in daily nursing practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients following established standards and practices.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Maintain thorough records and communicate with patients, families and hospital staff.
