Job summary

Good Samaritan Hospital CA LTD PTP in California is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care to adults on the Medical-Surgical Unit and Intensive Care Unit under the Nurse Manager.

You will supervise licensed personnel and assist in coordinating patient care, ensuring documentation, patient education, and adherence to safety and hospital policies. This on-site role requires California RN license and BLS; ACLS within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Current licensure in California as a Registered Nurse.
• Previous clinical nursing experience preferred: provision of medical-surgical nursing care desired.
• Current BLS certification. To complete certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 6 months from date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Organizes patient care and unit activities with delegation of tasks to other staff as appropriate.
• Maintains documentation of patient care and unit activities in accordance with standards.
• Supervises nursing staff and reinforces correct principles, procedures, and techniques of care.
• Communicates with Medical Staff and Nurse Manager to coordinate patient care and address issues.
