Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current RN Licensure in Texas or Compact.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS required.
• 3–5 years of clinical experience; supervision experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and guidance to ICU/PCU staff in goal setting, problem solving, resource management, and outcome achievement.
• Directs and evaluates ICU and PCU patient care during designated shifts to ensure high quality and compliance.
• Assists with admission, discharge, and transfer processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality patient-centered care.
• Collaborates with Nursing Leaders in development and implementation of policies and procedures.
