Qualifications

• Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing required, BSN required.
• Current Nursing License from the state of Texas required.
• BLS and ACLS certification must be completed upon hire.
• PALS certification required if department is PACU or ER; ENPC or TNCC preferred in ER.

Responsibilities

• Oversees staffing plans and schedules; compliance with productivity targets.
• Identifies opportunities for departmental improvements and implements action plans.
• Develops, revises and maintains departmental policies and procedures.
