USMD Hospital At Arlington LP is seeking an RN ICU/PCU Coordinator to lead ICU and PCU staff, drive care standards, and partner with physicians to achieve optimal patient outcomes. The role emphasizes a patient-first philosophy, collaborative leadership, and service recovery when needed.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of clinical experience with supervisory exposure and holds an RN license in Texas (or Compact), plus BLS/ACLS/PALS credentials requiring strong communication and collaboration

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• TX RN license (or Compact) required; BLS, ACLS and PALS required.
• 3–5 years of clinical experience; supervisor experience preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills for coordinating ICU/PCU care.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and guidance to ICU/PCU staff in goal setting, problem solving, resource management, and outcome achievement.
• Assists with admission, discharge, and transfer processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality, patient-centered care.
• Directs and evaluates ICU and PCU patient care during designated shifts to ensure high quality and compliance.
• Demonstrates positive, open communication to address vulnerabilities without fear of reprisal.
• Manages change and helps others adapt to new processes and standards.
• Collaborates with departments to resolve issues affecting patient care and outcomes.
• Supports a patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery when necessary.
• Ensures staff follow standards of care per State Board and regulatory requirements.
• Participates in ongoing quality assessment of patient care services with the management team.
• Maintains competency validation and ensures alignment with Joint Commission standards.
• Oversees equipment readiness and coordinates with supply on department needs.
• Maintains accurate reports and records; coordinates care plans with health care team.
